Then a steel pier is hydraulically driven through the bracket and through the soil down to firm bearing to create new foundation support. Adjustments are made until the piers support your structure at its maximum practical level. When the foundation is stabilized, the steel pier is welded to the bracket.
Usually after foundation stabilization, you are able to open and close windows and doors that used to stick. You may also be able to repair cracks in walls, and your furniture will sit level.
Steel push piers are one of the strongest stabilization methods available. They use the weight of your home and the resulting resistance to deliver support, and they do not use concrete. Once the job is complete, the installation holes are refilled and the landscape is restored, which leaves no visible evidence of piers and minimal disruption.
